Figures are in good condition with typical fading and minor paint loss associated with Vintage Blow molds. The donkey has some scratches, only obvious when viewing closely. These figures have new cords and sockets. These nativity figures were most often made by General Foam and Empire. These companies used the exact same molds, so it doesn’t much matter What brand you have, you can’t tell the difference unless you look at the markings on the bottom. Supposedly these molds are no longer in existence, so these shapes can no longer be reproduced, which means they will be harder and harder to find. All blowmold figures, everything from snowmen to Santas to nativity or Halloween pieces, all need to be weighted down to keep them from blowing over. Otherwise, that’s the reason you see so many blow mold figures with scratched up, noses and foreheads! I use either use bricks or rocks, or Ziploc bags filled with sand. The other option is to attach them to a board with screws. The type of bulbs you use in these figures depends on what kind of light you want. The LED bulbs make the pieces much much brighter, but they also make flaws much more evident when they are viewed up close. The old-fashioned incandescent bulbs give them a much softer and warmer light, much nicer in my opinion. These would only be used in the larger pieces, and you shouldn’t use anything higher than a 40 or 60 Watt bulb. The smaller figures use night light bulbs.
