Vintage POLORON Santa 18 Sleigh w/ 2 Reindeer Christmas Blow Mold C-87-1 READ. This is the smaller size of the “outdoor” sleigh, too big for tabletop but smaller than most yard pieces. I would say in good to very good condition for the age. All pieces are sturdy with minimal fading. But, there are some issues. There are no reins. There was some thin gold ribbon in the box, it will be included but I’m certain it is not original. There should be 3 screws on each side of the sleigh to attach the rails, there were only 5 total. There is also some light splitting at the holes on one side of the sleigh where they screw in. I only noticed the splits when I disassembled. The screws do show light rusting. One of the reindeer stands is missing the end nipple that would insert into the deer belly. It will be included, maybe it can be rigged to work. Antlers are intact with no damage. I could not get the lights to work. They will be included, minus the bulbs. Perhaps just the bulbs were burned out, but I had only 2 others on hand with the correct base and they would not function either. There is some rust on the “clamper” portion but the inside of the sockets are clean. At least they could be used to size the proper replacements. The box is NOT included; however, the assembly instructions were also inside. They will be included. I have placed them in a protective acid free sleeve as they too are very brittle with crumpled areas, tears and holes. Enlarge and look at all photos for more details on condition, design and size.
